What you Need to Know About a Wedding Covenant

You need to know there is a vast difference between a wedding contract and having a Wedding Covenant.

In the Webster's Dictionary, a covenant is an agreement, usually formal between two or more persons to do or not do something specified.  For many years, the practice of making and keeping covenants has been used by civilized societies to promote understanding, resolve conflicts and provide parameters for relationships.

  • A Contract is an agreement made in distrust.
  • A Covenant is an agreement made in trust.
  • A Contract is based on limited liability.
  • A Covenant is based on unlimited responsibility.
  • In a Contract you sign on the dotted line.
  • In a Covenant you toil the line.
  • A Contrast is conditional.
  • A Covenant is unconditional in nature.
  • A Contrast focuses on the growth of self.
  • A Covenant focuses on the giving of self.
  • A Contract is predicted on results.
  • A Covenant is predicated on relationship.
  • A Contract is made at arm's length.
  • A Covenant is made at arm's embrace.
  • A Contract ask, what am I getting from this marriage?
  • A Covenant asks, what am I bringing to the marriage?
  • A Contract is enforced by a court.
  • A Covenant is enforced by character.
  • A Contract is bound by legalism and leverage.
  • A Covenant is bound by love and loyalty.
  • A man or woman must know all of the above and be willing to obey God Almighty.

If you don't know who Jesus is then say this prayer with me...

Remember this: - With Jesus being apart of your marriage you shall have everything but without Him in your life, you will have NO-Thing...(Nothing)!

Let's Prayer and ask the Lord Jesus to come into your life and be with you in your Covenant Marriage.

Father, In the name of Jesus, I confess with my mouth that I am a sinner and I need Jesus to come into my life and save me, and I believe in my heart that God has raised Jesus from the grave.  Come into my heart now and saved me... I thank you for saving me and making me a child of God...Amen!

According to Romans 10:8 - 13, If I confess this prayer with godly sorry in my heart that I am a sinner needing a Savior, Jesus to come into my heart and save my soul. If you pray this prayer then find you a church that is in your area and tell the pastor what you gave your life to Jesus or you can call me at 1-254-349-5635 or email me (bishopsjordan@gmail.com) and I will help you to find a good Bible teaching church in your area or town.
